The basic information of the oilgas separator filter element for air compressors (6231630700 / 911230100073) is as follows:
1. Function and Application
Installed inside the oilgas separator of an oilinjected screw air compressor, it uses a threestage separation process of centrifugation, gravity, and glass fiber coalescing to intercept, condense, and return oil droplets/mist of ≥1 µm in the compressed air to the oil tank, ensuring an outlet oil content of ≤3 ppm, meeting ISO 85731 Level 2 requirements, while maintaining lubricating oil circulation balance.
2. Main Operating Parameters
Filtration Accuracy: 0.1–500 µm (commonly around 0.1 µm)
Rated Flow Rate: 6–9100 L/min (series coverage, matched to specific models)
Working Pressure: ≤450 bar (≈45 MPa)
Working Temperature: 30 ℃ ~ 120 ℃
Initial Pressure Drop: ≤0.02 MPa; Recommended Replacement Pressure Drop: ≥0.15 MPa
Design Life: 3000–4500 h (standard operating conditions)
3. Filter Media and Structure
Filter Media: Highquality imported ultrafine glass fiber + stainless steel mesh, multilayer corrugated structure, large dirt holding capacity, high coalescence efficiency
Sealing Ring: Nitrile rubber (NBR), oilresistant and hightemperature resistant
Filter Cage: Galvanized steel plate or stainless steel, washable and corrosionresistant
4. Conductive Washer Design: Conductive washers effectively dissipate static electricity, preventing sparking hazards caused by static buildup in the oil separator core.
4. Applicable Models: Widely compatible with screw air compressors such as the Quincy QGV908W (6211474550). It can also replace some Atlas Copco, Sullair, and Ingersoll Rand oil separator cores of the same specifications in industries such as steel, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, coal, electronics, and aviation.
5. Maintenance and Replacement:
Replace immediately when the pressure difference across the oil separator core is ≥0.15 MPa, or when the outlet oil content suddenly increases or oil consumption increases.
Before replacement, the oilgas separator must be completely depressurized. The return oil pipe must be inserted into the bottom groove of the filter element to ensure unobstructed oil return.
After installation, check that the conductive pins/washers are in good contact with the oilgas separator shell to prevent static electricity buildup.
For hightemperature and highdust environments, a 2000hour inspection is recommended. The lifespan is approximately 3000–4000 hours.
