Product Type and Function:
Type: Coalescing Separator Filter Element.
Core Functions:
1. Coalescing: This is the primary function. It captures and coalesces tiny droplets (usually water or oil) dispersed in oil or airflow into larger droplets through a specialized multi-layer micro-glass fiber medium.
2. Separating: The coalesced droplets settle to the bottom of the filter under gravity, effectively separating them from the medium and draining them.
Typical Applications: Primarily used to separate immiscible liquids from one another.
Fuel Dehydration: Separates and removes water from fuel in fuel systems.
Lubricating Oil Dehydration: Removes water from lubricating oil in lubricating oil stations.
Compressed Air Deoiling: Removes oil (in this case, coalesced oil) from compressed air systems.
