3. Important Notes
Absolute Accuracy: Stainless steel mesh is typically marked with Absolute Accuracy, meaning it intercepts 100% of spherical particles 10 microns or larger, offering highly reliable performance.
Seal Material: This is a key factor in filter selection. The O-ring material must be determined based on the fluid being filtered:
Silicone: High-temperature resistant, suitable for general fluids and gases.
Fluorocarbon (Viton): Suitable for most chemicals and solvents, offering wide compatibility.
EPDM: Suitable for mild acids, bases, and steam.
Dimensional Compatibility: This is a standard-sized washable filter element, widely compatible with filter housings from various brands (such as Parker, Filterite, and Rosedale). When purchasing a replacement, be sure to confirm that its dimensions (overall length, outer diameter, inner diameter, and seal interface) match the original part.
