SZ: Serial number.

First digit (1 or 3): Represents the length of the filter element. For example, 1 may indicate a short version, while 3 may indicate a long version (see the table for specific dimensions; for example, SZ-1 is approximately 8 inches tall, while SZ-3 is approximately 12 inches tall).

Second digit (5, 100, 25): Represents the nominal filtration rating (in microns). For example, 5μm, 100μm, and 25μm.

Letter (M, D): Represents the operating pressure rating.

 `M`: Medium Pressure

 `D`: High Pressure

 Suffix letter (`-V`): Indicates a bypass valve. If the blockage pressure differential is too high, the bypass valve opens to ensure uninterrupted oil flow, but unfiltered.

 Specific Model Analysis:

 SZ-1-5-M-V: Short version, 5μm accuracy, medium pressure, with a bypass valve. Commonly used for precision filtration in pressure oil lines.

 SZ-3-100-D-V: Long version, 100μm accuracy, high pressure, with a bypass valve. Commonly used in return lines or recirculating filtration systems.

 SZ-1-25-D-V: Short version, 25μm accuracy, high pressure, with a bypass valve. Can be used in pressure or return lines.
